Medical Assistant - Collette

Collette Pozuelo

I grew up and currently live in Wilton, Connecticut. I graduated in May 2017 from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. As a student I made sure I was getting the best experience out of my 4 years; I was a medical assistant at the Student Health Center, a part of HuskyTHON which is a year long fundraiser leading up to an 18 hour dance marathon event raising nearly one million dollars all benefiting Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, president of the largest women’s organization on campus, and participated in a medical/public health brigade in Panama. I have a passion for medicine and helping others, especially pediatrics where I get to witness magical healing and all the fun that goes into it. I hope to continue my education further by studying to become a registered nurse and ultimately a nurse practitioner. When I’m not working at Village Pediatrics you can find me hanging out with friends, baking, or traveling.
