Born and raised in sunny southern California, I have grown to love the East Coast with its beautiful fall and family friendly lifestyle. I moved to Westport in 2001 and have been very happy raising my three children in such a vibrant community. The University of Pennsylvania first drew me east. At Penn for undergraduate studies, I completed a double major in English and Biology. After college, I worked for one year at a home for disadvantaged children in North Carolina. Having fallen in love with North Carolina, where my mother was born and raised, I decided to attend Duke University Medical School. (Go Blue Devils!) For our training, my husband and I decided to venture to Northern California, where I became a pediatric resident at The Stanford University's Children's Hospital - Lucile Packard Hospital for Children. After three great years in the Bay area, we returned to NYC so my husband, David Lomnitz, could complete his training in cardiology. For the following five years, I practiced pediatrics as a member of the Cornell Medical College Faculty Practice. After moving to Connecticut to raise our family, I eventually joined Children's Health Services in Weston, CT. I met Dr. Jenn when it became clear we needed another physician for our growing practice. We have been practicing together for four years and find we share similar styles and enjoy discussing challenging patients. I love Dr. Jenn’s funny and caring style when she sees my three children in the office and they give her rave reviews! In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my kids, hiking, biking, reading and traveling. Village Pediatrics is my dream...a small practice where you know your patients and they know you. I am committed to its success!
